Welcome to Jamboree On The Air - Australia. The purpose of this web site is to provide information about Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) and assistance to those participating in JOTA, especially for the first time, to have an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

Not sure where to start? In additional to some general information about JOTA on this Home page, a good place is to select the interest in JOTA that best suits yourself, from the menu above. The Main Menu, on the right hand side, provides links to specific JOTA information.

For guides and scouts there is information on how to become involved in JOTA, make contact with amateur radio operators in your area, activities at JOTA and badges that can be earned in addition to the JOTA blanket badge.

For amateur radio operators there is information on how to make contact with guide and scout groups in your area, hints and tips on setting up a JOTA station and making JOTA contacts, and additional activities during the JOTA weekend.

If you require additional information, please feel free to use the Contact Us link, and complete the Contact Form.

This web site has been prepared by amateur radio operator, Paul VK2GX, who has been involved in JOTA since the 1970s. This is not an official web site of any guide, scout or amateur radio organisation.
